My name is Leanne Moore Ginsberg, a qualified Industrial Designer based in Randburg, Gauteng, proudly serving clients across South Africa.

I founded Forget Me Not (Pty) Ltd in October 2021, four years after the devastating loss of my older brother. This business was born in his memory, created to honour not only those we’ve loved and lost but the legacies they leave behind.

After his passing, I longed for a way to keep him close, something more tangible than photographs or words. That deep need for connection led me to my very first preservation project for a client: encapsulating a mother’s breast milk in resin. I embraced the challenge wholeheartedly, and from that moment, our journey began. What started as a single project has grown into a craft that now preserves everything from ashes and hair to flowers, fabric, and more.

Along the way, we discovered the incredible beauty of flower preservation. One client, who didn’t believe in cremation, asked if we could preserve flowers from a funeral along with a lock of their loved one’s hair. That request became a turning point, opening our hearts and eyes to a new dimension of remembrance. By 2022, flower preservation had blossomed into one of our most beloved offerings.

That same year, I attended five weddings of close friends. As a gift, I created keepsakes from each couple’s wedding flowers, a heartfelt way to celebrate love and help them hold onto the magic of their big day. Later, after marrying my high school sweetheart, I understood even more deeply the desire to relive those unforgettable moments. That passion drives much of what we do today.

Welcoming my daughter into the world was another profound chapter. Motherhood brought a new level of vulnerability, appreciation, and emotional depth to the memories we carry. It made me even more committed to helping others preserve those once-in-a-lifetime milestones.

I’ve always been sentimental, cherishing old photos, videos, and keepsakes. But I wanted something more: a way to capture feelings, moments, and stories that words alone couldn’t express.

In 2023, with the unwavering encouragement of my husband, I made the leap, leaving my corporate career to pursue this dream full-time. Forget Me Not (Pty) Ltd became more than just a business; it became my heart’s work. Each piece I create is infused with love, empathy, and a deep understanding of the moments that matter most.
